It’s hard to believe the month of February is nearly gone. South By Southwest will be here before I know it and I will have a house full of French musicians. Oh my goodness, I just realized it is less than four weeks away—I better start cleaning and try to learn some basic French! But I’m rambling. Sadly, we have come to the last pattern giveaway for the month of February, but fear not! I have had such fun with my little giveaways I have already begun to plan another one. The next shall be book related, but you’ll have to be patient and wait for the details later. I’m so mean.
Once again I asked my brother to pick a random number to determine the winner (I think he is just as good as an online random number generator) and the lucky dame is Kristin of Oh My Bettie—congratulations!
The two final patterns I’m giving away are from 1963 and are the same size but unfortunately both are missing the instructions. However, they are fairly simple patterns—nothing you dear readers couldn’t handle!

See—“Simple to Make” the first one proclaims. As always, the giveaway is open to everyone from everywhere and will end Saturday the 26th around midnight (US central time). Leave a comment with your name and tell me what you are looking forward to in March. Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland? The beginning of Spring or Fall? SXSW? Enter away and good luck!
I’m most looking forward to a trip to Italy in March! It’s my mom’s 60th birthday and she is celebrating by bringing the fam along on her “crown year” vacation. Unfortunately, it’s the week before SXSW, so I won’t be able to take as much time off for it this year.
will be tweeting about your fantastic giveaway!
I’m definitely looking forward to spring! I love winter, but I’m ready for all the snow to be gone. Thanks for the giveaway. They’re great patterns! pe_mayfield(at)yahoo(dot)com
In March, DH and I will be spending a week in Rome for our 25th wedding anniversary!
So, instead of catching up on all my reading for seminary (I’m not EVEN going to take a textbook!) we’ll be tossing coins in the Trevi fountain! (That’s so we can go back to Rome again someday!)
Definitely, waiting for Spring to get here so I can start rearranging my garden.
This March I’ll be looking forward to a bit of travelling – I’m going to Krakow next weekend, then Bruges, then Berlin and then Italy! I can’t wait!! Also can’t wait for warmer weather, am completely sick of snow!
I have the instructions for the first one…but no pattern and I love it!
March…Spring Break. Kid and I got plans.
Hey I’m from the other side of the planet and really looking forward to autumn and some cooler weather! and of course sewing those lovely patterns as they are my exact size!!
I love the coat – it looks like one I had in college that had been my mom’s. Let’s see… in March I am looking forward to brighter days and seeing my crocuses pop out of the ground.
I am actually really looking forward to Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” and am so glad you mentioned it!
I’m looking forward to camping in Anza Borrego and seeing the wildflowers!
Ooh, those patterns are both my size!
Let’s see. In March I am looking forward to finishing my daughters’ ridiculously adorable Easter dresses (vintage patterns, the both of them) and taking loads of pictures.
Hi Christine:
First, thank you for visiting Brynwood and entering my giveaway celebrations! I’ve had fun scrolling through this and your other blogs and am thoroughly enjoying myself.
I love both of these patterns, and I’m looking forward to making a wedding dress in March. No, it’s not for me, but I’ll reveal the bride after her wedding in April.
I’m also taking a short trip to next week to see our kids and grandkids. I’m really looking forward to that.
Thanks for your generous giveaway and the chance to win it!
Good luck in the Brynwood drawings! I’m going to follow both your blogs and look forward to getting to know you better.
xoxo

You took the words right out of my mouth. I am all that embodies Alice and cannot wait to see what the magnificent Tim Burton has done to my favorite story of all time!

March is the beginning of summer in my part of the world! Which means planning for holidays and all the beauties that summer brings (blue skies and sunshine). :o)
And well, the possibility of winning a vintage pattern! ;o) I adore vintage fashion, but haven’t had the chance to try my hand at creating something myself. I can’t wait to try. :o)
I am so looking forward to March because spring will officially begin!! Yeah I am so ready for winter to be over. I also will be sewing spring clothes, focusing on dresses for now. Thanks for February giveaway and hope I am a lucky winner!
